The Joy Of A New Generation
Andrew holds a special place in the family as my nephew and my mother's first grandson. That place is not small. It carries memory, pride, expectation, and blessing. I can never forget that day in 1990 when I came back from school and found you kicking in the air on Toto's bed. That image has never left me. From that moment, your presence marked our family with joy and abundance.
Jenni calls you Mr Omoding, and I, Uncle Daudi, call you Papa Iduwe. Those names carry affection and history. In you I see continuity, but I also see increase. I am a grandfather because of you, and in you I see my legacy. You are part of what makes the future feel visible, part of what makes the family know that what was built will not end with us.
This page honours Andrew not only for who he is, but for how far he has carried the family story. You carried all your uncles' and relatives' careers and took them even further. Recognition is not reserved only for age. Sometimes honour belongs to the person whose life becomes proof that the family line has strength, reach, and a future beyond what earlier generations imagined.
